Did you know there was a professional orchestra based at St John’s?
In the 2019–2020 season the London Mozart Players, the UK’s oldest established chamber orchestra, will do a series of 6 concerts at St John’s, thus giving you the opportunity to enjoy classical music right on your doorstep.
Join us for the grand opening concert on Saturday 12th October at 7pm. This concert will not only feature a world-class orchestra, but you also get the chance to see piano superstar Howard Shelley and 14-year-old Hungarian piano virtuoso Soma Balasz-Piri. The programme includes some Mozart, Haydn and Prokofiev as well as a brand-new composition by young British composer Matthew Olyver. A leaflet about the concert can be downloaded here.
Tickets are only £15 and there’s an early-bird discount if you book before 4th October (http://londonmozartplayers.com/concert/old-masters-young-talent/).
