Desert Island Faith
Our own faith and spiritual life is often hidden from others—we each pursue our own private relationship with God, as if we were on a desert island.
This Lent we are adapting the format of the radio show Desert Island Discs to enable us to hear from other Christians about their journeys of faith and what inspires them, with the aim of growing spiritually both as individuals and as a community.
For those who are able, we are requesting a £2 donation per session in aid of the Refugee Support Network.
Come along to the vestry or the hall every Sunday in Lent: 5, 12, 19, and 26 March, and 2 and 9 April.
Lent is an opportunity to consider our own spiritual life and our own journeys as disciples of Christ.
Members of our pastoral team are available this Lent for conversations about life, faith, and spirituality. We recommend you try the free app ‘Pray As You Go’, which may prompt some questions for discussion, but we would be happy to meet to talk with you whether you are using the app or not.
Fr John and Fr Daniel would be particularly happy to meet with you, but there is a wide team of clergy and lay people who would also be willing to see you, including Fr Andrew, Fr Tom, Rob Barber (Reader), and Berni Excell (Pastoral Assistant).
