Happily Ever After

The St John’s pantomime (Cinderella) was a great success a few weekends ago, raising around £3,000.

Members of the congregation and people from the local community joined forces, rehearsing most Sundays since September. As well as the cast, who gave up so much of their time to make it a success, thanks are due to the director Joan Llewellyn, to her husband John for his work on lighting and sound, to Fr Daniel Trott for musical accompaniment and sound effects, to Josie Cornish and her team for set painting, to John and Margaret Stephens for extensive work behind the scenes, and to friends, relatives, and congregation members who helped with refreshments during the performances.

The next pantomime will be in winter 2021/2022, but watch this space for other theatrical and musical extravaganzas from the panto crew and friends…
