Norwood & Brixton Foodbank are still running, and they need your help more than ever right now!
Although the distribution points are not operating, food vouchers are still being issued over the phone (ring Fr Daniel or Fr John if you need one) and food packages are being delivered to people’s homes.
If you usually donate food through the box at the back of church, or if you’ve never donated before, there are ways you can still donate during lockdown:
Donate online on the Foodbank’s Virgin Money charity page.
You can donate as a one-off, or set up a monthly payment.
TEXT “dinner 5” to 70085 to donate £5
TEXT “dinner 10” to 70085 to donate £10
This costs £5 or £10 plus a standard rate message.
Follow this link for complete information on ways to donate.
The website Bankuet allows you to donate food online, reducing waste and ensuring the foodbank gets the items they need.
The lockdown is exacerbating economic inequality, so unfortunately the foodbank is needed more than ever. Please help.
