What is The Hive?
The Hive is a safe space in St John’s Church Hall that meets for lunch every Wednesday from 12 – 2pm.
Who is The Hive for?
The Hive is for anyone in the community to come and have a free two course meal and socialise. You can play music, take part in art & crafts, play games, sit and talk or just take time to relax.
How much does The Hive cost?
There is no cost for The Hive. If you might be in a position to support The Hive financially, we would be very grateful. You can donate here.
What happens at The Hive?
We eat lunch, we relax, an we socialise! Our relationship coach, Rachael New, also runs a session to help us think about how we relate to each other, and Danny Simpson runs a choir. All activities are optional.
Who runs The Hive?
The Hive is run by our Pastoral Auxiliary, Danny Simpson, and a dedicated group of volunteers from St John’s. If you might be able to volunteer at The Hive, please contact Danny. We would love to hear from you!
