What happens at Youth Church?
We play games, do activities, discuss big questions relevant to faith and life, and always enjoy some kind of tasty food! Sometimes we go on trips and socials too.
I’m not sure if I’m a Christian. Can I join?
Of course. Everyone is welcome. Come along to find out more – we’d love to hear your questions too!
Do I have to come every month?
You don’t, but it’s nice for everyone if we can see each other regularly – it makes the activities and discussion more interesting!
Who leads Youth Church?
Youth Church is led by Mthr Rachael and Tom Wilson. Tom has a young family of his own and can often be found at St John’s on a Sunday morning 🙂
Where does Youth Church meet?
We meet in the Vicarage.
Do I need to let you know I’m coming?
It’s helpful if you can let us know, but if you don’t have time, just pop by and introduce yourself. You can email Mthr Rachael in advance: [email protected]
Can I volunteer at Youth Church?
We are sometimes looking for new volunteers for Youth Church, subject to DBS checks and other appropriate safeguarding checks. Speak to Mthr Rachael or Fr John if you’re interested.
