Pentecost at St John's was a whole parish celebration, filled with colour, creativity, and fire. From handmade flaming banners adorning the church pillars, to Pentecost Camp 2026 welcoming 30 children for a weekend of scavenger hunts, campfires, and pyjama prayers, the week was a vivid reminder that the Church is, above all else, its people.

In this powerful reflection for International Women’s Day, Bishop Rosemarie invites us to give thanks for the women who sustain, lead, and serve the Church with courage and grace. Rooted in Scripture and inspired by Christ’s example, she reminds us that God’s desire is for justice, dignity, and flourishing for all.
