PlayTime! Disciples is a special weekly Sunday morning session for 0–6-year-olds and their grown-ups, held during the Sunday Mass.

A Meaningful Morning for Little Ones & Their Grown-Ups
Each session is filled with sensory play, crafts, songs, stories, and snack time—creating a fun, interactive space for little ones to explore faith, learn, and play. Children then return to church in time to receive a blessing.
These sessions offer a joyful opportunity to engage with stories from Scripture and the life of Jesus in a creative and age-appropriate way. Our aim is to provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for families of all backgrounds.

Yes, PlayTime! Disciples welcomes all children aged 0-6 years. However, children aged 3 and under must be accompanied by their grown-ups.

PlayTime! Disciples is completely free, but you can make a donation if you wish to help us keep it free and open to all.

Absolutely! At St John’s, we welcome children of all ages and families of all backgrounds. Every family has a place in our community. Please feel free to reach out to Fr John or Mthr Rachael if you’d like to discuss how we can help your child feel safe and supported at PlayTime! We’re here for you.
