Join us every Friday during term time from 9:30 – 11 AM for PlayTime! – a welcoming, free playgroup for babies and toddlers. With sensory play, crafts, songs, stories, and fresh coffee with home-baked treats for parents, it’s a space for children to explore and for grown-ups to connect.

PlayTime! is a free weekly session at St John’s Upper Norwood with creative crafts, songs, and sensory play for little ones and their carers. Relax with coffee and treats while the kids explore and learn.

Each PlayTime! session is filled with fun and engaging activities for little ones, including free play, role play, sensory activities, sand and water play, creative crafts, songs, and storytelling. Parents can also enjoy fresh coffee and home-baked treats. PlayTime! is completely free, but donations are always welcome to help us keep it open to all.

  • Yes please! Booking helps us plan for the right number of children and grown-ups to cater to each week.

  • Yes! PlayTime! is completely free, but you’re welcome to make a donation to help us keep it open for everyone.

  • Absolutely! At St John’s, we welcome children of all ages and families of all backgrounds. Every family has a place in our community. Please feel free to reach out to Fr John or Mthr Rachael if you’d like to discuss how we can help your child feel safe and supported at PlayTime! We’re here for you.
