Have you experienced the loss of someone close to your heart? Grief can feel heavy, but you don’t have to carry it alone. Compassion Through Loss is a peer-led support group offering a safe, gentle space to share, listen, and reflect together, at St John’s Community Hall, Sylvan Road, SE19 2RX.

You are welcome, just as you are.

St John’s is participating in Open House this year and will be running guided tours of the building on 19 September.

Bookings open on 19 August, but you can see the variety of events planned in the area here.

London Mozart Players are back with a whole crew of new pre-historic pals, in an interactive musical adventure. 

Whether your little one is a budding musician, a story lover, or a dinosaur enthusiast, this children’s concert is a fantastic way to introduce them to the magic of live music. So, get practising those dino dance moves and loud roars, as you’ll be singing, stomping, and boogying your way through Eliza’s adventures!

For children aged 3+ | Guaranteed to leave even the tiniest palaeontologists smiling from ear to ear.

Spring 2027

We're considering organising a bike ride from St John's to Brighton in Spring 2027, in support of St John's and TLG – the charity that runs alongside our Messy Meals programme.

Don't worry if you're not up for the full distance – there will be options to join for just part of the route, and we'd love to see younger members of our community get involved too! We'll be keeping the route nice and flat, so no need to be a pro!
