Combatting Loneliness
& Building Community

SOMEWHERE TO BE

You’re not alone. At St John’s, we believe in building community through shared spaces and experiences. Join us for a warm welcome at The Hub, where we offer a weekly community lunch and the chance to connect with others. Be part of Refugee Café, a space of support and training for displaced people seeking community and purpose. Come along to PlayTime!, Messy Meals or Messy Church, where children and families find joy, fun, and nurturing care. Spend time in The Meadow Garden, a peaceful place to relax, tend the plants, or volunteer alongside others. And of course, all are welcome at our Sunday Worship, followed by coffee, homemade cake, and conversation, a time to simply be, together.

St John’s Upper Norwood provides emotional support, community connection, and access to essential services like food, shelter, and counselling. You’re never alone with us.

Food, Clothing, Housing & Legal Support

SOMETHING TO HELP

If you’re in need of food or clothing, emergency shelter or help with domestic violence, mental health support or bereavement counselling, help accessing benefits, housing, or legal aid. We can guide you toward trusted, local organisations. Let us help you find the right support.
