St John’s, Upper Norwood, has experienced remarkable growth over the past year. More than 1,000 people now come through our doors every week, attending worship services, community activities, outreach projects, and musical events. This growth is a gift, and it brings new opportunities to welcome, serve, and connect.

Why we need a new kitchen
Our current kitchen is outdated and no longer fit for purpose. Simple tasks take longer than they should, and our volunteers are working extra hard just to keep things running.
We are raising funds to install a new, modern kitchen, including:
A high-capacity dishwasher
Improved coffee-making facilities
Better access and layout for smoother serving
A modern kitchen will help us serve people faster, more safely, and more joyfully, freeing volunteers to focus on hospitality and connection.
We want coffee to bring people together — not keep people waiting.
