Coffee Concert: Keziah Thomas

Keziah Thomas Harpist

Biography:

British harpist Keziah Thomas, praised by the New York Concert Review as “stupendous…totally original and engaging” in her Carnegie Hall solo debut, is celebrated as a dynamic performer and educator. Central to her work is the belief that music should be accessible to all, inspiring her diverse freelance career.

Her recent transcription of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, released by Convivium Records, and her album Crossing Waves, featuring new works by British composers, have both earned critical acclaim. Keziah is principal harp with the Covent Garden Sinfonia and her work as a chamber musician with the Aoyama Trio and 4 Girls 4 Harps has been described as having ‘Scrupulous attention to the harp’s dynamic and rhythmic possibilities’ by The Times. Winner of multiple harp competitions, she studied at the Royal College of Music. Keziah is the founder of Retreat to the Harp and Little Harp Social and teaches at the Yehudi Menuhin and Guildhall Schools.
